A community eco-camp on the Aurunci Mountains
Where we come from
What we’re about
Valle Scala is a community eco-camp in the Aurunci Mountains. Nothing more, nothing less.
A couple who lives here, friends and volunteers passing through from all over the world, a woodland to look after. We grow a vegetable garden, cook together, eat at the same table. We like meeting interesting people and maybe running into them again somewhere in the world, if we get along.
We’re not gurus or shamans, the road is bumpy and we don’t sell anything. We offer a place a little off the beaten track to relax and discover what’s around us.
3 hectares · 200 trees
A forest of cork oak, olive, pine, and oak trees. A silent valley where time slows down. Open from April to October, Valle Scala welcomes travelers, families, groups of friends and Workaway communities seeking authentic connection with nature.

Who has passed through
Faces, hands, evenings. Everyone who passes through Valle Scala leaves something behind, and takes a little away.

Network
Valle Scala is part of the Naturae APS network which includes Ostello Ossigeno and Woodpark. Three different projects, one philosophy: community, sustainability, nature.
